Many new and improved features have been added in the Android Lollipop. One of them is the “Overview” feature which is similar to the “Recent” feature found in its predecessor. For example, if you are viewing an email in the Gmail app, it’ll shot that particular email including the Gmail app in the Overview. This seems pretty useful and no doubt it is. But if you’re using Chrome, things can get pretty annoying. Overview will display each of the tabs open in the Chrome as separate tabs. This can be useful for few and very annoying for some because since Lollipop, the “Recent Apps” won’t disappear even if you restart your device. So if you have a lot of tabs open in the Chrome, you have to close it one by one. Fortunately, there is a fix for this. Follow this tutorial to know.

How to disable Chrome from showing tabs in Overview.

Step 1: Open Google Chrome on your device.

Step 2: Tap on Action Overflow menu.

Step 3: Open Settings.

Step 4: Tap on Merge tabs and apps.

So this is it. This simple trick will save you time that could be wasted by sliding each tab from the Overview in you Lollipop device.
