How to Delete Your Instagram Account

How to Temporarily Disable Instagram Account
If you temporarily disable your account on Instagram, everything (your profile, videos, photos, comments, likes) will be hidden. Your account won’t be visible to anyone unless you reactivate it /log-in back.
First Log-in to Instagram account either by mobile or PC browser. (You can’t disable your account using Instagram App (Application).
On the top-right corner of the screen, you can see profile option (icon of a person), Click on it.
Beside the Profile picture and username you can see “Edit Profile” option, Click on it.
Now, Scroll down the screen. You will see “Temporarily disable my account” option. Click on it.
Once you click on it, you will be prompt to another screen asking you the reason of disabling the account.
Read the information of the screen and Click on any of the reason that is suitable for you.
Now, re-enter your password for the confirmation.
Click on the “Temporarily Disable Account” button.
You have successfully Disable your Account temporarily. If you wish to reactivate your account then you can simply log-in to your Instagram account.
Permanently Delete Instagram Account
If you delete your account, everything (your profile, photos, videos, photos, comments, likes) will be permanently removed. Once you delete your account, you can’t reactivate your account. So, you better be conscious before taking this step.
- Go to Delete Your Account Page. If you are not logged in, you will be asked to log-in first. (You can’t disable your account using Instagram App (Application).
- Select the suitable reason from the drop-down menu.
- Now, re-enter your password for the confirmation.
- Click on the “Permanently Delete my account” button.
- You have successfully Deleted your Account.
