How to Deactivate a Lyft Account
You cannot reinstate your Lyft account once deactivated, so make sure you want to delete it before you proceed.
- Tap the menu icon in the upper-left corner of the Lyft app.
- Tap Help.
- Tap Profile and account.
- Tap Delete my account.
- Tap Go to account deletion.
- Enter the phone number associated with your Lyft account, then tap Next.
- Under Delete account, tap Start.
- Give Lyft a reason why you’re leaving, or just tap Next.
- Type DELETE in the text field to confirm, then tap Delete account.
